Jamshedpur, Aug 29: The Jamshedpur branch of ICAI organized a webinar on schemes designed to benefit chartered accountants. More than 200 chartered accountants of the city participated online in this webinar. The programme was chaired by ICAI Central region vice president Atul Mehrotra. The main speaker was the chairman of Committee for Members in Practice, Satish Kumar Gupta from Jaipur.
The keynote speaker explained the various schemes that were available for the benefit of chartered accountants in their professional spheres. The provisions include Unsecured Term Loan facilities that entail a minimum loan of Rs Two lakh and a maximum of Rs 30 lakh at interest of 9.99 percent; Rule Z Book Mobile App for Legal Updates that provides lists of various laws in practice and constitutional norms and advanced search the facility of which would be available for three years free of cost; Legal Compliance Management would also be available free of cost for three years and includes tracking of legal compliances, comprehensive and current data base 1400 plus that would be available for five users of firms and 26 individuals; Health Insurance provides for family cover of Rs 20 lakh and dependent parents Rs 10 lakh, COVID-19 coverage; Vehicle Insurance that includes risk coverage for cars and two wheelers at 85 percent discount.
The webinar was moderated by ICAI Jamshedpur secretary Sugam Saraiwala who also offered the vote of thanks. The welcome address was given by Jamshedpur chapter’s chairman Sanjay Goyal. The organizing team included chartered accountants Vikas Agrawal, Siddharth Khandelwal, Pankaj Shingri, Vinod saraiwal and Yogesh Sharma.
