Jamshedpur, July 1: The Jamshedpur chapter of ICAI concluded its 12 day Foundation Day celebrations with the hoisting of the organization’s flag. The members of the Jamshedpur chapter today held a discussion on the programme taken by the parent body of’ Samarth Bharat, Atmanirbhar Bharat’ programme. ICAI Jamshedpur chairman Sanjay Goyal and secretary Sugam Saraiwala jointly stated, “We have to support this project of MSMI and with our unflagging services reboot our economy. Our quality of services is our hallmark. In order to maintain international standards and stay abreast with our foreign counterparts we have to constantly improve upon our high standards and credentials for which there have been some amendments in norms and guidelines.” Social distancing was maintained while observing the Foundation Day today.
Among the 12 day programmes was included a seven day virtual marathon segmented in three parts namely 21 kilometers, 57 kilometers and 71 kilometers. In the 21 kilometer segment the first placers were Anil Agrawal, Vinit Mehta, Shilpi Kejriwal and Saurav Gupta. The first place winners in the 57 kilometer virtual marathon were Pran Nath Shangari, Jasmina Thakkar, Neha Chhapolia and Sanjana Bhalotia while in the 71 kilometer category Vivek Chowdhary, Ankit Babbar and Harpreet Kaur were the ICAI Jamshedpur members who made it to the top of the podium.
The organizing committee for the 12 day event included chairman Sanjay Goyal, secretary Sugam Saraiwala, Vikas Agrawal, Pankaj Shingari, Binod Saraiwala, Siddharth Khandelwal and Yogesh Sharma.
