Jamshedpur, Nov 2:The rural scenario can be utilised as a model for various environmental initiatives that can set examples for the cities.
Mahatma Gandhi had said, “India is to be found not in its few cities but in its villages”. Taking the tradition ahead students of Hill Top School presented a model titled ‘The Future of Indian Villages’ and won laurels for their school and city.
The Hill Top team, comprising Harsh Raj & Rishav Kumar of Class 9, and assisted by Ankit Kumar (Class 9) presented a model in the category SCI TOOLS and bagged first prize for their entry at 2ND International Youth Convention on Commerce & Economics.
The event held at City Montessori Inter College, Lucknow from October 20 to 23, 2013 saw the participation of 54 schools from India & abroad.
