Jamshedpur, Nov 14: The Annual Day celebrations of Hill Top School featured a lot of music, dance and talent. School celebrated its 36th Annual Day on 13th November, 2013 at the school premises were Tom Guidry & A K Mittal, senior Consultants from DuPont were present as the special guests.

The event kicked off with lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by a presentation on screen titled ACHIEVEMENTS 2013 which highlighted School’s achievements in the last year. It displayed the effort put in by the students to bring laurels to the school.

The school also got its website (www.hilltopschooljamshedpur.org) launched by the Vice Chairman, School Managing Committee, Sravan Kumar.

The two experts from DuPont, Tom Guidry & AK Mittal, then addressed the gathering followed by a speech from Vice Chairman Sravan Kumar.

The students showcased a spectacular cultural programme including Multi faith prayer presented through a choreography titled “Towards an Integral Earth Community”. Hill Top Circus presented by the primary students including Trapeze dance by LKG students & Animal Dance by UKG students.

Classical English play by Oscar Wilde, “Importance of Being Ernest” staged by the students of class 11. This was an interesting play & everybody appreciated the humour in the play. Fairy tale “;Tinker Bell performed by the students of Primary Classes.

Hindi play “Bholaram ka Jeev” performed by the students of Classes 9 & 11 which highlighted corruption prevailing all over the world.

The School Orchestra, INFERNO then put up a wonderful show with flavors from all over the world titled “The Rubric of Celebration”. This was followed by a dance drama “Mrityunjay”, which is a mythological rendition of the story of Shiva & Parvati. The event ended with the School Song which was sung with enthusiasm.
