Jamshedpur, Jan 29: East Singhbhum district administration organized ‘Sarkar Apke Dwar’ programme in various blocks here on Wednesday. A host of issues pertaining to civic amenities, government schemes and various problems faced by the villagers were discussed during the programme. The villagers submitted applications for payment of wages under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), new electricity connections, old age pension, widow pension, installation of street lights, repair of roads and issuance of new ration cards.
In Dumaria, the programme was organized at Kashibera Panchayat Bhavan in Dholabera panchayat. The residents of 12 villages of 13 wards had come to the Janata Darbar. They demanded construction of a community building in Kolaberiya village. A health camp was also organized on this occasion. Medicines were distributed among 25 patients. The BDO assured to look into the problems faced by villagers and resolve them as soon as possible.
In Mosabani, Janata Darbar was organized in Matigora panchayat. The BDO-cum-Circle Officer Ajay Kumar Rajak, Mukhiya Kartik Hembram and other block officials were present on this occasion. The BDO said the government had organized the programme with the view to resolve public issues.
Dhalbhumgarh block officials organized the Sarkar Apke Dwar programme in Chukripara panchayat. The programme was attended by many panchayat, block and village officials. The Dhalbhumgarh CO, addressing the villagers, said all complaints submitted by them would be disposed on a priority basis. A total of 105 applications were received for pension while 61 applications were received for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
The Sarkar Apke Dwar programme was also organized in Ghatsila and Gudabandha blocks. A large number of villagers were present on this occasion.
