Jamshedpur: Chief Minister’s representative Pawan Agrawal Tuesday said the state government was committed to the uplift of women and hence it was running various welfare and skill training projects aimed at empowering them.
Agrawal was addressing a gathering during a meeting of Marwari Yuva Manch, Surabhi branch, convened at Agrasen Bhavan, Sakchi. He said all women should be informed about the benefits and salient features of government schemes so that they are not left out.
Agrawal said Jharkhand was the first state where land is being registered in just one Rupee. He appealed to one and all to help the poor get ration cards issued in their names. He also asked them to make sure that all poor and under-privileged people get free treatment facility under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
Among those present on the occasion included Suman Agrawal, Ruchi Bansal, Pinki Ringsia, Mamata Agrawal, Parul Chetani and Rekha Agrawal.
