Jamshedpur: A free mega health checkup camp was organized at Public Welfare School in Azadnagar at Mango by the East Singhbhum district Momin Conference where 632 people underwent medical checks for various ailments.
The chief guest on the occasion was former chairman of the Housing Board and AlKabir Polytechnic Nazm Ansari. The guests of honour included Urdu newspaper editor Shakir Azimabadi, state vice president of the organization Sanaullah Ansari, Shamim Bharati and Ansar Mahasabha state president Khalid Iqbal. They were presented with bouquets and anga vastram. The medics were also presented the same on behalf of the committee by the guests.
The doctors present at the camp were physiotherapist Dr Zahid Hussain, physician Dr Girish Sharma, gynecologist Dr Rena Azmi, dentist Dr Shadab Hassan, surgeon Dr Badr and homeopath Dr Mira Sharma. Blood samples were collected from patients for sugar level tests.
Dr Zahid Tahsin said that most of the patients were diagnosed with vitamin E and calcium deficiencies.
The organizing committee comprised district vice president Haji Mukhtar Ahmad, general secretary Parvez Ahmad, Saud Alam, Kaisar Hussain, Ashfaq Alam, Sikandar Alam, Tanvir Ahmad, Wasim Ansari, Zahur ansari, Mukhtar Ahmad, Anwarul Haq and Javed Ansari. The vote of thanks was offered by Ashfaq Alam.
