138 teachers attend Capacity Building Programme at DAV Bistupur
Jamshedpur, Sept. 23: On the third and concluding day of the Capacity Building Programme for teachers of DAV Public Schools organized at DAV PS, Bistupur, challenges faced by teachers in classroom teaching were discussed during the science session.
During the English session, teachers were trained to prepare the lesson plan and in Social Science, Master Trainer Ashraf Jahan addressed the session on political parties.
In Mathematics, activities based on mensuration and Ratio &Proportion were observed while syllabus and evaluation system was discussed during the Computer Science session.
Present during the programme, Principal Pragya Singh emphasized on lively and simple classroom teaching. Director S. K. Luthra urged the teachers to focus on safety and security of students and distributed certificates to the participating teachers.
After the Programme, all the teachers acknowledged the fruitfulness of the workshop organized on the three consecutive days. They felt motivated to introduce innovative teaching-learning skills to make education enjoyable, effective and student-friendly.
Earlier, the valedictory function began with DAV Anthem. The three-day-long capacity building programme for teachers saw participation of 138 teachers in all from DAV PS, Bistupur, DAV PS, Chaibasa, DAV PS, NIT Campus, Adityapur and DAV PS, Baharagora who were greatly benefitted. This programme was conducted by DAV Centre for Academic Excellence and arranged by the Regional Director, DAV Public Schools, Jharkhand Zone – F and the Principal, DAV PS, Bistupur, Jamshedpur.
