Jamshedpur: The police have filed an FIR against JMM MLA and daughter in law of Shibu Soren, Sita Soren at Galudih police station in an alleged case related to fraud.

The daughter-in-law and MLA from Jama, Sita Soren along with two associates including Rakesh Chaudhary and Dilip Das has been booked for taking resignation from one of the partners of a resort based on fake papers.

According to the FIR lodged, Sita Soren removed Vinay Kumar Mangalam on the basis of a fake letter as the director of the Galudih Inn Private Limited (Gaulidih Resort). As per the allegations, Soren took signatures from Mangalam on plain paper, while Vinay Kumar Mangalam did not resign himself.

In the FIR, the complainant Vinay Kumar Manglam, a resident of Astha Hi-Tech Society, Sonari, a joint partner in the Galudih Inn and Chottanagpur Roadlines Private Limited, along with Sita Soren, wife of deceased Durga Soren, eldest son of Shibu Soren, has accused that despite of clearing outstanding dues of the firms, amounting to nearly Rs 1.13-crore, singlehandedly, it came to his notice in October 2018 that two persons had been appointed director in the two firms without his knowledge.

Following this, Dilip Das was appointed as the new director. Vinay Kumar Mangalam, a resident of Sonari Jamshedpur, a partner of Galudih Inn Private Limited has filed the FIR.

The resort located in Galudih is 10 km away from Ghatashila. There are three partners. Mangalam. Sita Soren has been named as accused under section 403, 406, 420, 451, 452, 465, 467, 468, 477A of the IPC in the registered FIR. Moreover, the outstanding loan with the Punjab National Bank was also deposited in the name of Dilip Das, while all the documents of the resort were named after Vinay Mangalam.
