Addressing a workshop on National Food Security Act 2013 convened at the Jamshedpur Collectorate auditorium, the DC said those facing any difficulty in getting ration from the PDS shops should contact the district officials concerned on the toll free number 1800212551. Food security allowance would also be given to children in anganbari centres. Under Matri Vandana scheme, pregnant women would be given Rs 6000 for nutritious food in four instalments after registration, Kumar said.
