Jamshedpur: With exit polls predicting thumping victory of BJP led NDA in the country, the camps near Jamshedpur Co-operative College (JCC), near strong room have turned virtually into a battlefield. As of now, JMM and BJP have set up camps at the Jamshedpur Cooperative College from Monday to keep a vigil on the EVMs at the strong room.

While enthusiasm ruled in the city as the BJP predicted party’s win in the centre. Enthusiastic party cadres are planning to burst crackers and distribute sweets anticipating ‘victory’ soon after the final results would be announced on May 23.

“ We are confident that the party will regain the Jamshedpur parliamentary seat. Every party worker had put in hard efforts and their work deserves to be lauded. Modi’s charismatic personality and his vision of development will favour him, voters has shown faith in his leadership,” said Dinesh Kumar, president, district BJP.

Leaders and supporters of all the parties in fray are planning to gather in large numbers outside the strong room at Jamshedpur C-operative College in support of their candidates. Several parties are

constructing makeshifts tents, however, it is the tent of BJP that was brimming with joy. After the announcements of exit polls it was the BJP camp of supporters that rejoiced in jubilation.

BJP office in Sakchiis also bustling with activity since the exit polls were announced.  “ We are more than happy that the party has regained the Jamshedpur seat. The victory of Arjun Munda indicates that people have faith in his rule as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Moreover, Suman Mahatodid nothing for the city during her tenure, voters have no choice but shown her the doors,” said Satbir SinghSomu, a senior leader of youth wing of BJP.

On the other hand silence is prevailing at the camp of JMM after the exit polls were announced.“ We do not have faith in exit polls. The final results will come only on May 23. We are really very confident that,” said a district leader of JMM.
