Jamshedpur, Oct. 21: Jamshedpur FC star striker CK Vineeth on Tuesday said that though he has been in the city for the first time but he is impressed with the facilities here.
Addressing a pre-match press conference at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Monday, Vineeth said, “Everything about football is great in Jamshedpur right from stadium, training facilities, flatlets to fans. JRD Tata Sports Complex is one of the best grounds in the country and I’m really happy to represent the club in front of packed stands.”
Asked about his huge fan base back in Kerala when he played for the Blasters, seasoned campaigner was of the opinion that if you play good football on the ground you will surely make fans. “All depends upon your performance and if I play well here then I might have a huge fan base in Jamshedpur as the people here love football and I’m all set for tomorrow’s match which is sold out.”
Replying to query, CK Vineeth said, “I haven’t been around the city much except a cultural function hosted by the Malayalee community and my only focus is football.”
