Jamshedpur: The monthly meeting of Twenty Point Programme Implementation Committee was held at the Jamshedpur block office auditorium in Karandih on Friday. It was chaired by the committee president Ram Singh Munda and conducted by the BDO cum honorary secretary Malay Kumar.
The committee president said no slackness would be tolerated in the implementation of government schemes. He said the schemes should be implemented completely. He said departmental action should be initiated against government officials not attending the committee meetings despite being given reminders.
The BDO informed the committee members about projects implemented in the financial year 2016-17 and 2018-19. He said 294 PM Awas Yojana units were completed against a target of 314 in the year 2016-17 while in 2017-18, 39 units were completed against a target of 117. The remaining housing units are under construction, he said, adding that construction work of all 33 Ambedkar Awas Yojana houses had been completed.
