Jamshedpur, Nov. 30 : Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Saturday lashed out at the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha(JMM), saying development is not in its DNA and it cannot achieve any of its poll promises with such acts after attaining power.
” JMM is such a party which did not honor the Andolankaris despite father and son both becoming the Chief Minister. Both of them have worked for their own development what development work can they do for Jharkhand, in JMM’s DNA development is not present,” he said addressing an election meeting at Kanubeda of Rajnagar.
He said that JMM and Congress’ slogan of development of Jharkhand is misguiding. Both the parties committed Rs 4,000 crore scam when they were in power in the state.
Raghubar Das said that a lot of vote bank politics took place in the name of Icha dam construction. I assure you no village will be displaced in Icha dam construction. Das also promised in order to meet the demand of the girls here, a women’s college will be opened in Rajnagar.
The CM said that that before 2014, many industries were closed in Adityapur Gambharia. They started and provided direct and indirect employment to about one lakh people. This all happened due to the new industry policy.
Das added that there was political instability till 2014 after the formation of the state. Development and law and order were not strong. Corruption and extremism was at its peak. In the last 5 years, there has been a flawless government, which has not faced a single allegation of corruption and extremism is counting the last breath today, which will also be eliminated.
Das said that the Prime Minister’s dream is to create a new India, a new Jharkhand. No one will remain homeless until 2022. Work is being done in this direction.
