Jamshedpur : The body of two minor children who died in Bengali Para area of Jugsalai police station area was found on the river on Friday. The body of two minors was found from the Kharkai River, on the banks of Baroda Ghat and under the Jugasalai Railway Bridge under Bagbera police station area.
Both children are around 11–12 years of age. People who went to the river to bath and wash clothes saw the body after which the police were informed. Police of Bagbera and Jugsalai police station reached the spot and took possession of the bodies and sent it to MGM Hospital for post-mortem and also got involved in the investigation of the case.
Both minors have been identified as Deepak and Abhishek, a Bengali para (near Gaushala Talkies) of the Jugsalai police station area. Police are taking further action in this regard. According to the information, both the children had gone missing from Bengali Para area of Jugsalai police station area since Thursday evening.
On Thursday, both went to the river to catch fish. By afternoon, when both did not return home, nothing was found even after doing research. On Thursday evening, the Jugsalai police were informed about the disappearance of the children. The body of both the minor children was found in the river on Friday. There is no one to inform about the incident.
