Jamshedpur : For the ongoing ISA Programme students of DBMS English School under project Shakespeare to Tagore showcased a literary journey from the times of Shakespeare to Tagore.

The programme on “Women Empowerment” gave a clear insight into the lives of some of the great women achievers who have carved a niche for themselves in their respective fields. The highlights of the programme were JAM session, All the world’s a stage , Power Point Presentation , Role Play and General Quiz.

The Chief Guest for the event was the founder member of D. B. M. S. English School, B. Neelakantan. The Guest of Honour was the Principal of D. B. M. S. English School, Rajani Shekhar.

The ocassion was also graced by the presence of the Lalitha Chandrashekhar – Jt. Chairperson, Hema Raghavan – Secretary, Lakshmi Varadharajan – Treasurer, P. K. Sahu – Vice-Principal, Co-ordinators of all levels, teachers, students and parents. The teachers in charge of “Women Empowerment” were Kamala Venkat, Harpreet Kaur Bhamra & Divya Nair.

The teachers in charge of “Shakespeare to Tagore” were Gurpreet Kaur, Sumita Banerjee and Mallika Basu. ISA Co-ordinators Srividya Narayan, Anjali Ganeshan and Activity Co-ordinator, Renu Arora were actively involved to make these events a grand success.
