DBMS wins Patriotic Song Competition at Carmel

Jamshedpur, August 9: Jyoti Club of Carmel Junior College organized inter-school Patriotic Song Competition on Saturday.

Students from 13 schools of the Steel city participated in the contest. The competition was held in two groups in category A- DBMS English School was declared first, Tarapore Agrico was second while Narbheram Hansraj School was third in the contest.

In Group B-KSMS Sakchi was the crowned the winner. Thirteen participant schools include DBMS Eglish, Govind Vidyalaya, Dayanand Public, Loyola, KPS Burmamines,KSMS Hindi, Sacred Heart Convent, Narbheram Hansraj English, MNPS, Tarapore Agrico, DBMS Kadma High School, KPS Mango, St. Mary’s English School.

Judges for the event was Director of Sangeet Sagar T Amrita Rao and Akashvani Nidhi Mishra.

Earlier the event was jointly inaugurated by Principal of Carmel School Sister Lini, Vice-Principal Sister Stephy, Jyoti Club’s Moderator Mousami Mukherjee, Teacher Aparajita Mukherjee and President of the Club Swetabh Bhagat.
