Jamshedpur: More than 12 colleges, universities and educational institutions participated in the fair held on 11th November, 2019 at DBMS Kadma High School. Awareness leads to better choices. When they leave the portals of the school our motto is to make the student confident so that they know where they are heading- says Chairperson Bhanumathi Neelakantan.
Career fair brings people from diverse professional backgrounds so students have the chance to explore all of their interests during one exciting day of school. The better a student knows what they are or are not interested in, the better support we can offer as they begin to approach graduation or choose a career. The career fair offered various courses on performing arts, engineering, medicine, media, hospitality, entrepreneurship and many more.
The Management and the School Principal encourage students not only to hunt their potential to conventional courses but also be open to the diverse career choices offered and follow their dreams and passion. Over 600 students and parents participated in the fair and benefitted.
It mainly focussed at bringing the world of careers to the doorsteps of our students and make their choices easy. We live, grow and explore the highest possibilities in the field of education. Challenging conventional education and offering multiple pathways is key to unlocking students potential and inspiring success in a rapidly changing world.
The fair was inaugurated by Chairperson Bhanumathi Neelakantan and the members of the managing committee B. Chandra Shekhar – Jt. Chairperson – Finance DBMS Board of Trustees , Lalitha Chandrashekhar – Administration – DBMS Board of Trustees & President – DBMS Kadma High School, Hony. Secretary Jyoti Sarangi, Jt. Secretary Uma Ramani, Treasurer Bhuvana Krishnan, Maintenance In charge Jaya Raja, Principal Meena Bugli and Vice-Principal Prema Mohan.
The participating institutes and colleges were DBMS College of Education, DBMS Career Academy, KMPM Vocational College, Netaji Subhash University, Masterminds, Thesis Institute, AFA Academy, Parul University (Vadodara), Jamshedpur Women’s College, Arka Jain University, Career Launcher and IDTR.
