Jamshedpur, July 15:  DAV Public School, NIT Campus, Adityapur students have fared well in the CBSE Class 10 exams, the result of which was announced on Wednesday afternoon. DAV NIT has produced the Jamshedpur topper with Ashish Kumar Singh scoring 98.4 % marks. Ashish scored 100 each in Mathematics and Foundation of Information Technology (FIT). He scored 99 marks in Social Studies, 98 each in Hindi and Science and 97 in English. He scored 492 marks out of 500 with FIT being an optional subject.  

Mansi Gupta was second school topper scoring 97.6 % marks. Raunak Kumar Tripathi bagged third spot in the school toppers list scoring 95.6 % marks.

Second school topper Mansi Gupta aims to become an engineer. “I have preparations for the pursuing my career as an engineer and will join the coaching for JEE soon. I have scored 97.6 % in my class 10 and would like to continue with the same pace in my class 12 and crack the engineering entrance exam,” said Mansi, adding,” I used to study for 4 to 5 hours daily. My parents and teachers played a vital role would like to “. Her father Deepak Kumar is a businessman while mother Rakhi Gupta is a homemaker.   

DAV NIT School third topper Rounal Kumar Tripathy says that he studied for 7 to 8 hours in a day with full dedication and also paid attention in class. His father Sunil Kumar Tripathy is working in a private firm. He gave credit for his success to his parents and teachers.   

Total of 243 students appeared for the exam for DAV NIT.

24 students of the school score 90 % and above marks while 93 students managed 75 % marks and above in the class 10 exam.
