Seraikela, Sept. 18: The coronavirus cases are on the rise in Seraikela-Kharsawan district. The district administration has extended the prohibitory orders till September 30.

SDO Ram Krishna Kumar said that section 144 has been imposed from September 16 to 30. According to communique issued by the SDO, crowd of five or more people is totally banned. All religious places will remain closed till further orders. People aged 65-year-old and above, pregnant woman and children below 10-year-old must remain indoors. It is mandatory to wear masks and follow social distancing norms at all market places and offices. Spitting is a punishable offence. Not more than 50 persons will be allowed at weddings following COVID norms. At all shops not more than 5 people will be allowed and all must follow social distancing norms. SDO informed that those found flouting the COVID norms will be strictly dealt with.
