Jamshedpur, Dec 14: The first training programme of vote counting supervisor, counting assistant and counting micro observer was organized at Bharat Sevashram Sangh’s Pranav Children World, Sonari, on Saturday. The participants were told their role in the successful conclusion of the election process is crucial. They were asked to be present at the counting venue at Jamshedpur Cooperative College on 23rd December in time and ensure fair and transparent completion of voting.
The trainers gave a host of instructions to the participants and apprised them of various technicalities involved in the process of counting of votes.
The officials said there will be a counting supervisor, a counting assistant and a counting micro observer at every counting table on the day of counting.
There will be separate rooms for every Assembly constituency. Paper slips of five polling booths will also be counted after counting of votes through EVMs.
