Jamshedpur: Seraikela-Kharsawan police raided two mobile phone shops in Kandra Market with the help of the executive officer of T-Series company, Yogendra Prasad Singh, on Friday and seized fake CDs. They took in custody two persons, Gauri Shankar Prasad and Mohammad Sultan from the two shops.

Police also seized three computers, hard disks, TVs and other electronic equipments from the two shops, Johar Jharkhand and Naaz Mobile.

They said the SP of Seraikela-Kharsawan, Rakesh Bansal, had got a tip-off about illegal copying of T-Series CDs and sale of fake T-Series CDs by certain people in Kandra for the last several months. Several pornographic CDs were also being prepared and sold by the culprits, cops said.

The raid team comprised of T-Series officer Rajesh Kumar Pankaj, Ravi Ranjan, officer in-charge of Kandra PS Vijay Kumar Singh and ASI Ravindra Kumar Yadav.
