Jamshedpur, Aug 8: More than 100 members of ICAI Jamshedpur, mourned the demise of member and former chairman Dinesh Chowdhary’s sudden and untimely demise. Members offered tributes and mourned his death during a ceremony organized on the digital platform. They recollected moments spent with him and prayed for the peace of his soul.
ICAI city chapter’s chairman Sanjay Goyal and secretary Sugam Saraiwala stated that Dinesh Chowdhary was a lively person and he had the unique quality of winning over his detractors. He had a special knack for executing social responsibilities, they said.
Jagdish Khandelwal stated that in Dinesh Chowdhary’s death a void has been created in the organization that would be difficult to fill. Ramakant Gupta said that Dinesh Chowdhary would always remain in members’ hearts and it would be impossible to ever forget him. Gopal Agrawal averred that Dinesh Chowdhary was always prepared to work for social causes and never refused to lend a helping hand. Manish Kedia opined that Dinesh Chowdhary had taken the Jamshedpur branch of ICAI to new heights. “He was full of life and verve and it was during his stewardship of the ICAI Jamshedpur that it received the Best Branch Award. This will continue to serve as an inspiration for the future committees of executives,” Manish Kedia stated. Kailash Singhania was of the view that all Chartered Accountants should do something for the deceased member’s family which would be a true tribute to Dinesh Chowdhary.
