Jamshedpur: District Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha activists would be participating in the Aakrosh rally going to be organized in Kolkata on 11th August. This was informed on Monday by the district BJYM president Amarjeet Singh Raja at a meeting of the district BJYM committee.
Addressing the meeting, district BJP president Dinesh Kumar said the proposed rally was planned to protest against the killings of BJP workers in West Bengal. The BJYM activists would burn an effigy of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and raise various flagrant issues.
Kumar later said the district BJYM was doing well on public issues and awareness campaigns.
During the meeting, it was decided to plant 1000 plants all over the district under Van Mahotsava. In view of the 2019 elections, officials would be appointed at various levels in the state, said Kumar.
Among those present at the meeting included Chandrashekhar Mishra, Haldhar Narayan Sah, Milan Sinha, Krishna Sharma alias Kali, Shweta Kumari and Ranjeet Pandey.
