Jamshedpur, Sept. 14: Kerala Public School, Kadma celebrated “Ethikos Day 2019” on 14thof September, at the school premises.
The day began with a mesmerizing musical performance by the students with a important message “Action changes Things”.
To inculcate ethical practices amongst all, a series of events were organised for the students of classes IX to XII, ICSE and CBSE Schools of Jamshedpur. Various schools of Jamshedpur took part in the Ethikos 2019.
For the event Jazz it Up the participant had to dance with a theme “Dance for a cause”.
In the event Jamming, students had to speak for or against Ethical issues.
The next event was Unkahay Alfaaz- Dilki Awaaz (Poetry) with the theme “Badalte Bharat Ke Badalte Sanskaar”. The Insomnia (Blast of Beats) was a musical extravaganza for an hour, with the theme “Going Retro”.
Shutter Bugs (Photography) had the theme Ethikos, take a image and freeze a moment, reveal how rich reality is.
Poster Making with the theme “Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time”.
Legends on the Ramp was a fashion show with the theme
“A personality you look upto who has brought about a social change”.
The last event of the day was Mic Drop with the theme “Burning the evil in the society”
The programme successfully came to an end with a great zeal and enthusiasm by awarding the best performers of the various events.
Winner of Ethikos was Church School Beldih followed by Kerala Public School Mango and Sri Krishna Public School.
The Ethikos 2019 was well managed by Kavita R the Ethics Club Moderator of Kerala Public school Kadma and Tarique Parvez. Scouts and Guide and ethics club students contributed in the smooth conduct of the show.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by the Senior School Coordinator Veena T. The day concluded with a happy note of encouragement. The teachers and students worked with great passion and endeavour to make this programme a grand success.
The Ethikos fest 2019 was conducted to sensitise students and teachers on Ethics.
Earlier, the programme commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp by the Director of Kerala Public Schools Sharat Chandran, the founder Principal and Assistant Director Shanta Vaidhyanathan, Academic Director Laxmi Sharat and the Principal Sharmila Mukherjee .
