Gamharia English School organizes 37th Prize Night

Gamharia: “Children are the builders of a nation’s fortunes. To raise and guide them is the shared responsibility of teachers and guardians,” observed chief guest and principal of Sacred Heart Convent School Jamshedpur, Mridula AC.
She further observed that for any community, society or nation to prosper, education was essential. “That is why society should specially ensure education of children,” Mridula AC stated.
Earlier, the chief guest along with the Gamharia English School vice chairperson Rinku Roy and director Subroto Roy lighted the traditional lamp to inaugurate the Prize Night. This was followed by the students singing the school anthem and patriotic songs.
The School’s chairman NB Singhdev also addressed the audience. The students presented songs and dances that captivated the audience. Prizes were awarded to top spot winners of each class.
Teachers Neha and Shweta Sharma conducted the programs. School principal Purnima Sinha offered the vote of thanks. Also present on the occasion were school secretary Shipra Pal, assistant principal Sarika Gupta, Rima Banerjee, Shilpa Kumari, Baby Rani Mahto, Puja Sharma, Pallavi Rao, Sarita Mohanty and teachers and students of the school.
