Shilpa Rao to perform
Jamshedpur, Jan 7: Wheels is back with a bang. The students from schools and colleges across the city are gearing up for unlimited fun, entertainment and contests at the cultural event “Wheels” organized by Tata Motors’ GET (Graduate Engineers Trainee) Club.
A renewed fervor and enthusiasm spreads through the city with the return of 27th edition of the event with its theme “Celebrating Indianness”, which promises a scintillating line up of over 26 intellectual and fun events, informative workshops and many learning opportunities for school and college students.
Captain PJ Singh, spokesperson at Tata Motors said that over 40 educational institutes and 1500 participants have already registered and the numbers still rising at www.getclub.org which is open till 8th January.
This time Wheels 2014 introduces brand new events like Nukkad, Rangmanch, Spellathon, Clay Art etc. along with the mainstream events like Dance and Photography, added Singh.
The revels will kick off with prelims of events like Anybody can draw, Debate and Tarang on 10th, 11th and 12th of January at Engineers hall and Telco Recreation Club.
This shall be followed by the Marathon with the theme ‘Run for a greener tomorrow’ on 19th. The finals with events like Clash of Bands are from 23rd to 25th at Telco Club.
The icing on the cake will be the grand finale. City girl and renowned bollywood singer Shilpa Rao will enthrall the audience with her latest numbers at Telco Club on January 25.
