Jamshedpur, May 25: Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE class 12th Result 2018 would be released on May 26 on the official website cbseresults.nic.in. The official notification for CBSE Class 12 Result 2018 was released on cbse.nic.in.
Total of 4800 students from Jamshedpur appeared for the class 12 exam. 11600 students from Jamshedpur appeared for the CBSE exam from Jamshedpur this year of which 6650 are from class 10. This year seven examination centers were set up instead of six till last year in Jamshedpur. SDSM School for Excellence was added as a new center this year
CBSE has about 155 schools across Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bokaro and Hazaribagh from where 14000 students from class XII and 18000 students from class X appeared in the examinations.
There are 190 schools in the state out of which Dhanbad has 42 CBSE schools followed by Ranchi with 41 schools, Bokaro 36 schools and Jamshedpur 35 schools.
As per the initial reports, about 11.85 lakh students have appeared for CBSE Class 12 examinations 2018. The examinations were conducted from March 4 to April 13, 2018. CBSE, this year, conducted the re-examination for CBSE Class 12 Economics paper after reports of paper leak were confirmed. The re-examination was conducted on April 25.
After the re-examination many suggested that the CBSE Class 12 results 2018 would be delayed. However the officials confirmed that the results would not be confirmed. Experts and sources close to the board confirmed that resources and measures were in place to ensure that the re-examination evaluation would be completed in record time.
Students would be able to check their CBSE 12 Result 2018 on the official website cbseresults.nic.in. The time for the release of the results is not known. However, it is suggested that the CBSE may release the results at 10 am or latest by 11 am.
