Jamshedpur, Aug 5: In order to reach out to the school students amidst the on-going lockdown, city-based educationalist Rubina Bodhanwala has started a free online session once a week on topics children need to benefit from. This Saturday on August 8, she will conduct a session on ‘Dealing with Peer Pressure’ She will be live on Facebook and Instagram for children above 12 years and their parents. The initiative is named ‘Creative Transformation’. She said that based on her experiences in everyday life and in the field of education she has decided to conduct live sessions.
“ Due to the spread of coronavirus kids are now behind the closed doors. I want to reach them and help them to meet any pressure they are facing. I have prepared a module of the session based on my experiences in the field of education. The programme aims to teach children to handle their stress and failure,” said Bodhanwala. She went on to add that she will come up with such sessions regularly for children to meet the challenges.
She said that those parents who feel that their child lacks confidence or has less concentration and limited focus can participate in the session. Through certain techniques, relaxation and planning, the children will learn to concentrate, handle negativity and overcome emotional limitations.
Bodhanwala, who is famous for spreading the light of education in the city, said that this session is specially formulated for the children of the city to help and benefit them to look at life differently.
