Jamshedpur, Feb 12: Rupesh Mahato, 40, a BJP activist, died of critical injuries in a road accident near Charidungri under Kandra police station area. He was under treatment at Tata Main Hospital. He breathed his last late yesterday night. He was cremated today in his native village.
Mahato, who was the founder member of Donda Shiv Mandir committee, had sustained severe head injury in the mishap. Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda visited Donda village to console the aggrieved family. A large number of people were present on this occasion.
