Jamshedpur, Aug 14: A Bharatiya Janata Morcha delegation today met aggrieved Tileshwar Prajapati and his family at their Pratimanagar residence in Bhatia Basti to gather information on the family’s crisis. Tileshwar Prajapati told the BJM delegates that Ganesh Mahali, the notorious land mafia and his henchmen had been mentally and physically torturing him and his family members regularly. He also narrated the incidents of the last few days to them. He pointed out that Mahali and his men had blocked the road in front of their house.
After meeting the Prajapati family, the BJM decided that they would take up the cause with the district authorities and demand investigation into the incidents and action against the perpetrators. The BJM also stated that the vacant space in Pratimanagar which is being used as a gas cylinder godown is government land which has been leased out to Tata but is being sold in an unauthorized manner thereby causing a loss in state exchequer. They said that they will demand investigation in the matter and proper action against such persons involved in such illegal sales.
