Jamshedpur, May 13: Far from the maddening paraphernalia of Lok Sabha elections that concluded yesterday, BJP parliamentarian Bidyut Baran Mahto seemed totally relaxed as he celebrated his 26th wedding anniversary with spouse Usha Mahto at the party’s election office with senior and young leaders and members today. The couple cut a cake on the occasion and shared it with the well wishers present on the occasion. While the senior leaders blessed the couple the party’s youth brigade conveyed their best wishes.
Bidyut Mahto held discussions with senior party leaders in the election office and confirmed that NDA would win the Jamshedpur seat by a margin of more than two lakh votes. Using his social media platform he thanked all NDA party workers and appreciated the people for coming out of their homes to cast their precious votes.
Bidyut Baran Mahto’s wife Usha Mahto who had campaigned vigorously for the parliamentarian observed, “The feedback provided by party workers and the general people indicate that on May 23 BJP members and officials will celebrate Holi and Dipawali together as the Lotus will bloom in the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency.”
Among those present during the Mahto couple’s 26th marriage anniversary celebration today were BJP district president Dinesh Kumar, Jitendra Nath Mishra, Anil Singh, Samir Mohanty, Amit Singh Bobby, Rakesh Singh, Amarjit Singh Raja, Lippu Sharma, Pappu Singh, Mukesh Sharma, Vinod Gupta, Prabhakar Prasad and several other party officials.
