Jamshedpur, April 25: NDA candidate from Jamshedpur LS seat, Bidyut Baran Mahato, inaugurated BJP’s election office in six Mandal units of the constituency on Thursday. He was accompanied by the district BJP president Dinesh Kumar and other senior party leaders.
Addressing party workers, Mahato said they should speed up mass contact programme as the election date was drawing close. He said the party workers should contact voters directly and appeal them to vote for development and national security. He further said the party workers should inform voters about the development work carried out by the Central government in Jamshedpur and other parts of Jharkhand and rest of the country. He expressed hope that the NDA would win the election with landslide margin.
Dinesh Kumar said the Jharkhand-named parties had only exploited Jharkhand and its people in the past. Such parties were taking the state backwards, he said.
Others present during the programme included Potka MLA Menka Sardar, Bulurani Singh, Rajkumar Singh, Muralidhar Kedia, Pawan Agrawal, Gurdev Singh Raja, Khemlal Choudhary, Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Bari Murmu, Abhay Choubey and Dhananjay Upadhyaya.
