Jamshedpur, Aug 18: A meeting of the state working committee of All Jharkhand Mukhi Samaj was convened at Nirmal Guesthouse on Sunday. The committee was expanded with unanimity. The chief guest of the occasion was former MLA and state president of the community Mangal Ram. State general secretary Hari Mukhi presided over the meeting.
All members reached consensus to elect Baiju Mukhi as the state executive president. Other members elected today included Poresh Mukhi, Ramakant Karua, BK Nayak and Shambhu Mukhi Dungri. All newly-inducted members were garlanded by the outfit members.
Addressing the meeting, Mangal Ram said the community members should stay united and discuss vital issues for their mutual benefit and development.
Baiju Mukhi said the community members should focus on education for faster development.
Among those present in the meeting included Pandi Mukhi, Khema Ram, Shankar Tanti, Budhdev Karua, Dilip Mahanand, Trinath Mukhi, Munnu Birnet, Ramchandra Mukhi, Kala Kanu, Anand Karua, Shatrughan Nayak, Dheeraj Mukhi, Naresh Benudhar and Rakesh Mukhi.
