It may be recalled that on February 22, 2014, an AGM of TML Drivelines ( a subsidiary of Tata Motors), Brajesh Sahay, was shot dead in Nildih area in Telco by some unidentified assailants. The police have not been able to crack that case yet.

The victim Ratnesh Raj (28), manager, equipment maintenance service department at Tata Steel was attacked while he was getting down from his car near his residence. He received several bullet injuries.

In the first news reports, The Avenue Mail had erroneously mentioned the designation of the victim as a VP of the company. However, the victim Mr. Ratnesh Raj is a manager in the company.

Yesterday’s attack took place when Ratnesh, a resident of flat near Tube Makers Club at Nildih, was on his way to meet his dentist friend, Anand Kumar at that apartment. Soon after being shot, he was rushed to Tata Motors Hospital’s emergency ward.

However, Tuesday afternoon Ratnesh was shifted to the Tata Main Hospital in Bistupur for better treatment.

Sources said two bike-borne assailants had shot at Ratnesh. His car has also been damaged in the shooting incident.
