Jamshedpur : Army Chief General Bikram Singh today inaugurated an 18-hole Golmuri Golf Course at Golmuri. The Golmuri Golf Course at Jamshedpur was a 9-hole course that was established around 1988.

The course has now been redesigned and will play to a 18 hole and has been well equipped with 6600 yard +, Par 71 layout with Bermuda greens and fairways.

Nestled in the south eastern part of Jamshedpur is the Golmuri Golf Course that boasts of an expanse of verdant land quite unlike what one would expect to see in an industrial town.

Latter talking to the newsmen, Singh appreciated the initativties being taken by Tata Steel for well kept city. He said that the steel company.

Singh, with former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda, Tata Steel Managing Director, T V Narendran and his predecessor H M Nerurkar, were present during the inauguration of 9th hole at Golmuri Golf Course, in Jamshedpur.
