Jamshedpur: The 12th annual Jeen Mata Mahotsava concluded here on Friday with hundreds of devotees of Goddess Jeen Mata participating in a worship-cum-bhajan programme organized at Bengal Club, Sakchi. It was organized under the aegis of Sri Jeen Mata Parivar, Jamshedpur.

The chief guest of the programme was SSP Jamshedpur Anoop Birtharay. Other distinguished guests included DSP traffic Vivekanand Thakur, OC of Sakchi PS Madan Mohan, Ram Kishan Choudhary and Govind Dodrajka. They were honoured on the occasion by the organizers with bouquets and a memento.

Earlier, the guests lit a religious lamp as a part of a ritual which was held in the Bengal Club Hall. In the afternoon, Sri Jeen Shakti Mangal Paath was recited by as many as 301 women who were led by Arvind Sahal and Lata Singh. All devotees wore traditional attire as they chanted many religious verses and bhajans.

The bhajan programme began at 8 pm and continued till late night. Jyot Prajwalan ritual was attended by Ramesh Agrawal, Om Prakash Mangotia and Anil Agrawal and their wives.

During bhandara (feast for the devotees), around 3000 people received the prasad.
Among those who made the two day programme a grand success included Bajrang Lal Agrawal, Mahavir Moonka, Shambhu Khanna, Gopal Begrajka, Natwar Singhania, Vinod Khanna, Tulsi Khemka, Sunil Debuka, Rajkumar Ringsia, Bajrang Agrawal, Raju Sharma, Sanjay Agrawal, Pramod Khanna, Ashish Khanna, Arjun Agrawal, Ratan Bhoutika, Hitendra Khemka, Shyam Sunder Khandelwal, Mahendra Agrawal, Kamalkant Agrawal, Santosh Agrawal and Puranmal Agrawal.
