Jamshedpur, Jan. 19: Aniket Gudipathy of Prerna Classes has been declared the topper of JEE Main, the result of which was announced by National Test Agency (NTA) on Saturday at the official website of JEE at jeemain.nic.in. The JEE Main Examination Paper –I (B.E. /B. Tech.) was held in January 2019. Aniket Gudipathy scored 99.97 percentile.
NTA declared only the percentile score and the JEE Main Results 2019 ranks would be declared after JEE II, scheduled to be held in April 2019. Students of Prerna Classes came out with flying colours, what they have been doing for years. More than 50 students of the premier engineering coaching institute scored above 97 percentile.
Other toppers from the institute were Sarvesh Chandra with percentile score of 99.95, Harshit Agarwal-99.94, Madhusudan Agarwal- 99.94, Vatsal Nagelia-99.14, Rishav Kumar-99.76, Mayank Agarwal- 99.67, Akarsh Singh-99.88, Sidhartha Watsa- 99.43 and Mohit-99.50. Pramod Dubey, Director, Prerna Classes congratulated the students and wished them all the best.
Dhruv Arora from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh has outscored over 8 lakh students to top the JEE Main examination. In total, 8,74,469 students appeared for the JEE Main examination, out of which, 15 have scored 100 percentile and all are boys. Raj Aryan Agrawal from Maharashtra ranked second after Arora. But, maximum toppers are from Telangana with 4 students.
In 2019, 15 candidates who took the JEE Main exam have scored 100 percentile, out of which three students are from Maharashtra. The NTA has also released state-wise toppers’ list.
