Jamshedpur, Dec 2: Union Home Minister and BJP national president Amit Shah gave success mantra to party workers of Jugsalai, Potka, Ghatsila and Baharagora Assembly constituencies on his election campaign visit to Jamshedpur on Monday.
Addressing party workers at Hotel Kannelite, Sakchi, Shah said the BJP government had several remarkable feats to its credit. The government has implemented many schemes aimed at achieving antyodaya in Jharkhand and other states, he said.
Shah said the people were with the BJP due to its pro-poor policies and implementation of welfare schemes based on Antyodaya philosophy. People had fuelled BJP’s power due to which all opposition parties are frustrated and anxious. As a result, power-greedy opposition parties have formed a grand alliance, he said.
Shah sought feedback on the conferences of beneficiaries of various welfare schemes organized by the party from BJP workers. He directed all booth and ‘panna pramukhs’ to intensify mass contact drive in their respective areas. He said three persons should wake up 50 persons at 5 am in every Assembly constituency on the day of polling. All BJP members and their near and dear ones should cast their votes by 10 am. Every worker should take the responsibility of at least 20 voters, he said.
Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, BJP national secretary Suresh Pujari, district BJP president Dinesh Kumar were present during the meeting. Others included Ankit Anand, Chitranjan Verma, Deepak Parikh, Shikha Rai Choudhary, Pushpa Tirkey, Sunil Bari, Rajkumar Singh, Vimal Jalan, Anil Modi, Vimalkant Jha, Bari Murmu and Uttam Bhagat.
