Jamshedpur, Dec 6: Does Arnab Goswami represent the new age journalism?, Is social media an index of how less we value our time ? Is India still a one sport nation ? These were some of the topics that the students discussed during the Leadership Challenge Grand Finale organized by Hill Top School in association with Grey Caps at Michael John Auditorium.

Seven participants from different schools of Jamshedpur and one from Bokaro were shortlisted for the final round. Abhayankar Joshi of Vidya Bharti Chinmaya, Telco, was crowned the winner followed by Shayan Chatterjee of Hill Top School was the runners up for the event while Promita Sinha of Little Flower School was the 2nd Runners up.

The Leadership Challenge 2014 Grand Finale had 4 rounds including Kick Start, Walk the talk, Analyze This and Jury Time. The proceedings were managed by Giri Balasubramaniam of the GREYCAPS team which also consisted of Ms. Rashmi Furtado , Ms. Apoorva Upadhyay, Ms. Varsha Prasad and Ms. Divya Hari Rao. 8 candidates shortlisted for the Grand Finale were Ankit Jha – DPS, Bokaro, Promita Sinha – Little Flower School, Alok Kumar – Jamshedpur Public School, Abhayankar Joshi – Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Shikhar Singh – Jamshedpur Public School, Shayan Chatterjee – Hill Top School, Sakshi Singh – Motilal Nehru Public School and Srija Bhattacharjee of Carmel Junior College.

Earlier the program was inaugurated by the Principal of the Hill Top School Puneeta B Chouhan who addressed the audience followed by the Inaugural address by the Chief guest Siddhartha Basu, Head – Circulations ROE of ABP Ltd.

The Hill Top School orchestra put up an excellent show for the audience the Judges for the event were Mrs. Smitu Malhotra, Roanld D’Costa and Pinaki Mazumdar. This was followed by prize distribution.
