Jamshedpur : In a shocking incident, a 5-year-old girl was allegedly abducted by a 22-year-old youth from her house near Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) office in Sakchi last evening. The aggrieved parents turned up at the Sakchi police station and lodged an FIR against the suspect Rabi Lohar.
The child’s mother Misti Srivastava said in the FIR that Rabi who would stay along with his parents in the neighbourhood had started visiting her house since the past two months.
According to the FIR, at about 7 pm on Sunday, the accused youth and the victim child were watching TV when Misty had gone away to buy something from Sakchi market, leaving her sister-in-law Santoshi to look after the house. When she returned home, she found neither the victim nor the accused at home.
When there was no information about the missing girl, Misty along with husband Pintu Srivastava came to the Sakchi police station and lodged the FIR, alleging Rabi to have abducted the girl.
