Jamshedpur, Feb 10: RVS College of Engineering & Technology in association with Micro Small & Medium Enterprise(MSME), Government of India organized a ten day Management Development Programme on Marketing Management of 30 hours duration for the final year B.Tech students of SC and ST categories which concluded on Monday, Feb 10 followed by distribution of certificates to the participant students .
The Director of MSME Development Institute, Ranchi Mahadev Lakra was the chief guest on this occasion. Lakra told that it is essential to train management theory to the future technocrats. The MSME Department works on this principle and has done 193 such programmes in various parts of Jharkhand. He told that the problem of unemployment can only be solved in the country by promoting small industries. He called the students to establish new ventures. These ventures can become global as it has been seen in many such cases.
The Training & Placement Head of the college Prof. N. Roy Choudhury anchored the proceedings of the programme . He underlined the importance of the management programmes in the professional career of entrepreneurs.
The Director of the college Prof. (Dr.) M. P. Singh stated that technocrats can be strengthened by inculcating the traits of confidence into them, by their personality development and make them learn to balance in adverse circumstances. He expected that some of the trainees of the above programme may come up with their own ventures.
The Assistant Director of MSME Development Institute Ajay Giri told that the motto of MSME is to create jobs. MSME is the supply chain of big industries. The sector has got a lot of potential and it can enhance the growth rate and ultimately the GDP of the nation. He extended the vote of thanks.
