Jamshedpur, May 18: Nrityangan Institute of Performance Arts organised ‘Riyaz Session’ on day 2 of the kathak dance training at Vijaya Garden in Baridih on Thursday.
At the event famous tabla player Pandit Rakesh Mishra from Kolkata played table on which the participants displayed their kathak dance skills.
The participants comprise of school students who are actively participating in the training as the schools have been shut for summer vacations.
They were informed about technicalities and other related information about the kathak dance. Earlier, a two minute silence was observed on the demise of Bollywood’s favourite new-age mom, Reema Lagoo who passed away following a cardiac arrest in Mumbai on Thursday morning.
The versatile actor who was a part of several theatre productions, TV shows and films was 59 and she breathed her last at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
Present on the occasion were Vingshoti Dutta, Shrejal Chandra, Srishti Singh, Devangshi, Abira Sarkar, Simran Kaur, Trisha, Tashu, Puja Pal, Uma Maheshwari, Madan Kumar Dey, Tarik Sarkar and others.
