The employability training programme consisting of 25 youth, most of who are from the SC/ST sections of the society, will enable TRF take one more step in the direction of its affirmative action programme and of fulfilling the Tata ethos of improving the quality of life of the community in which it operates.
The training programme, called ‘Rojgar’ in TRF has been sponsored by TRF and TRF Ladies Association and will be provided to the candidates at TBSS’s centre in Jamshedpur. The centre has state-of-the-art infrastructure and experienced trainers and prepares the candidates to get employment, mainly in the BPO sector. The total duration of the training programme is 45 days.
The ‘Rojgar’ programme was formally launched today at the TBSS Sakchi Centre by Mr Sudhir Deoaras, MD, TRF Ltd in the presence of the candidates selected for training. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Deoras said that while training would be imparted by TBSS which would help in employability, it was important for the youth to learn and develop habits which would enable them to become responsible citizens of the very country.
