Jamshedpur, Feb 20: Tata Motors Jamshedpur has been conferred with the “Best of Best Organisation” award by INSSAN (Indian National Suggestion Schemes’ Association) this year. The award is given based on performance of more than 40 organisations considering 7 criteria which includes, awards won in INSSAN contests, progress of the unit in the suggestion scheme, participation in INSSAN programmes & conventions and management commitment in operations of suggestion scheme/allied Employee Engagement schemes.
The award was handed over at the 24th National Convention, held on 15th February 2014 at New Delhi. In addition, Tata Motors Jamshedpur bagged 11 other awards in the convention in various contests. A total of 12 awards were awarded to Tata Motors Jamshedpur, which is a record for a single company. A B Lall (Head-Jamshedpur Plant) along with other winners from Tata Motors Jamshedpur received the said award from the Chief Guest, M M Singh (Chief Operating Officer, MSIL).
