Patna, Jan 29 (IANS) Three women drowned and 11 others were missing when an overcrowded boat capsized in the Ganga in Bihar’s Buxar district, an official said Wednesday.
“Bodies of the three women have been recovered,” Buxar District Magistrate Raman Kumar said. Eight other women were rescued by villagers.
Kumar said 22 women, mostly labourers, were in the boat when the accident took place late Tuesday.
