Seraikela: Members of Adivasi Sengel Abhiyan, Seraikela, organized Maun Satyagrah (silent Satyagrah) before the district headquarters here on Monday to oppose the domicile policy of the state government.

The district convenor of the outfit Motai Baskey led the outfit members during the protest. He demanded immediate sacking of the state government as well as the sacking of all 28 tribal MLAs besides seeking cancellation of all MoUs signed by the government so far.

Baskey said a memorandum addressed to the President of India had been handed over to the DC of Seraikela-Kharsawan Ramesh Gholap by the outfit in this regard.

He condemned the amendments in the CNT and SPT laws while claiming that the same would be detrimental to the well-being and future of the tribal people of the state.
