Ranchi: With the view to ensure success of Jharkhand Global Investor Summit in the state capital scheduled to be held on 16th and 17th February this year, Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma reviewed preparations for the forthcoming event.
Verma said that the preparation should be completed with no rooms for loopholes and all departments of the state should coordinate with the nodal agency for the success of the program. Senior officers of different departments participated in today’s meeting.
Presiding over the meeting, the CS directed the officials of various state departments to ensure the role of private sector enterprises concerned as authorized service provider in their respective fields. She also directed the officials to open stalls and pavilions department-wise showcasing investment potential in the state.
Renowned national and foreign delegates representing business and industry will participate in the summit. During the programme, the opportunities of industries as well as the government policy will be discussed through seminars. Some important agreements will also be signed on 16th and 17th February.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das had conducted road shows in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, USA and Singapore last year to attract investors to Jharkhand. A team of officers was also sent to China to hold a road show for attracting investors.
