Jamshedpur, March 20: Nishan Yatra (procession) was taken out from Sakchi Shiv Mandir on day 1 of the Jeen Mata annual festival organised by Sri Jeen Mata Parivar, Jamshedpur on Monday.

The hosts of the puja were Mahesh Singhania and wife, Omprakash Moonka and wife. The rituals of 251 Nishans was also done. The Yatra traversed through Kasidih, Sitaramdera, Golmuri Vijay Nagar before culminating in Maa Jeen Bhavani temple, Golmuri. The Nishan Yatra was flagged off by Umesh Shah, East Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan and BJP leader Bharat Singh.

The vibrant tableau during the Nishan Yatra were the centre for attraction. During the route local bhajan singer Mahabir Agarwal and team presented bhajans. With the bands and dance group the devotees were seen holding the Nishan. In the front of the yatra were two big flags of Lord Hanuman and Mata. Behind them were hundreds of devotees including women and men in large numbers.

During the yatra various social organisations had put up stalls distributing water, sherbet, fruits extra to the devotees. The Shobha Yatra was accorded a warm welcomed by the temple committee headed by Kailash Agarwal as it reached Maa Jeen Bhavani temple. The committee had made arrangements for the devotees.

Present during the celebrations were President of the Sri Jeen Mata Parivar, Jamshedpur Bajrang Lal Agarwal, Sambhu Khanna, Vinod Khanna, Natwarlal Singhania, Vijay Agarwal, Rajkumar Ringasia, Sunil Debuka, Pramod Khanna, Hitendra Khemka, Advocate Kailash Agarwal, Shiv Bhagwan Moonka, Gopal Agarwal, Yogendra Agarwal, Omprakash Moonka, Manish Khanna and Ashish Khanna and others.

On day 2 of the mahotsav on Tuesday, Jeen Shakti Mangal Path of Maa Bhawani will be held along with the bhajan presentation in the evening. For the mangal path and bhajan evening famous artists from Kolkata Jai Shankar Choudhary, Abhishek Sharma and Lata Singh will present the bhajans.

A priest from Rajasthan Jeen Dham, Anand Parashar, will render Mangal Path recitation. Jeen Mata’s darbar will be decorated in a grand manner in the hall of Bengal Club at Aam Bagan, Sakchi. The main attraction of the religious prgramme on Tuesday will be Sri Jeen Shakti Mangal path, Chappan Bhog, Akhand Jyot, Chunri Utsav and decorated darbar.
